Class Descriptions

​Beginners Yoga

Start Where You Are.  New to yoga or returning after time away? This supportive, slower-paced class is designed to help you build confidence from the ground up. You’ll learn foundational postures, simple breathwork techniques, and basic alignment principles in a clear and approachable way. With plenty of guidance, options, and space to ask questions, Beginners Yoga creates a safe and encouraging environment to explore movement, improve flexibility and strength, and develop a deeper connection to your body — no experience necessary.

 

Empower Flow

Strength, Energy, Presence.  Awaken your strength and flow with purpose in this dynamic class designed to challenge and energize. Linking breath with movement, you’ll explore flowing sequences that build strength, stretch deeply, and cultivate confidence on and off the mat. Ideal for those ready for a slightly more challenging practice than Hatha Flow, Empower Flow leaves you feeling grounded, powerful, and fully embodied.

Fit Flow

Power, Pulse, Restore.  Turn up the energy in this dynamic, strength-driven flow designed to challenge and empower. Blending breathwork, creative vinyasa sequencing, functional strength work, and intentional moments of rejuvenating rest, Fit Flow offers the perfect balance of intensity and integration. Expect to build heat, elevate your heart rate, and push past your edges while staying connected to your breath. Ideal for those ready for a more challenging experience than Empower Flow, this class leaves you feeling strong, accomplished, and deeply restored.

 

Hatha Flow

Find Your Balance & Breathe. Slow down, reconnect, and move with intention in this grounding Hatha Flow class. Through mindful breathwork and gentle, flowing postures, you’ll release tension, build strength, and cultivate balance in both body and mind. Suitable for all levels, this class creates space to soften, breathe, and move at your own pace, leaving you feeling grounded, rejuvenated, and fully present in your body.

Rest & Reset

Rest & Reset – Deep Rest, Gentle Renewal.  Slow down and surrender into deep restoration in this nourishing, fully supported practice. Using props to comfortably hold gentle poses for longer periods, Rest & Reset invites your nervous system to soften, your breath to deepen, and your body to release stored tension. With minimal effort and guided relaxation, this class offers a quiet space to unwind, recalibrate, and truly rest. Perfect for all levels, especially those feeling stressed, fatigued, or in need of intentional stillness.

Slow Flow

Slow Flow – Move Gently, Breathe Deeply.  Unwind and move with intention in this slower-paced flow designed to help you fully connect to each breath and posture. With unhurried transitions and mindful sequencing, Slow Flow offers time to explore alignment, build steady strength, and release tension without feeling rushed. Slower than our Hatha Flow, this class creates space to soften, regulate your nervous system, and cultivate presence while still enjoying the rhythm of a flowing practice. Suitable for all levels, especially those craving a calm, steady experience.

Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow – Soft Movement, Steady Breath.  Move slowly and compassionately in this soothing, low-impact flow designed to support mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being. With simple, accessible sequences and mindful breathwork, Gentle Flow helps release tension, improve circulation, and create a sense of calm without strain or intensity. This class is ideal for beginners, seniors, those recovering from injury, or anyone seeking a nurturing and approachable practice that leaves you feeling refreshed, supported, and at ease in your body.

Karma Class

Karma Yoga – Practice with Purpose.  Join us for this donation-based community class where your practice supports something greater. All net proceeds are donated to local charities in Port Perry, allowing us to give back while coming together on the mat. Suitable for all levels and led by a variety of teachers from our Lotus Loft community, Karma Yoga is an opportunity to move, breathe, and connect in the spirit of service. Any donation is welcomed and deeply appreciated.

Chakra Yin

Chakra Yin – Balance, Release, Restore.  Journey inward through a slow, meditative Yin practice designed to support balance within the body’s energy centers. Holding gentle, longer-held postures, you’ll create space in the connective tissues while exploring breath, awareness, and subtle chakra themes woven throughout class. Each session offers an opportunity to release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect to your inner landscape. Suitable for all levels, Chakra Yin leaves you feeling spacious, centered, and energetically aligned.

Breathwork & Meditation

Experience a powerful breathwork practice designed to release old patterns, neutralize stress, and reset your nervous system. Using conscious connected breathing, it targets stored stress, trauma, and habits, guiding your nervous system to safely complete and let go. It also helps install new states of calm, confidence, and presence, anchoring these changes deeply in your body. Combining guided breathwork, embodiment, and mental focus, this practice fosters lasting transformation beyond surface-level stress relief for those ready to create real change.

​Livestream Classes

Livestream – Practice From Anywhere.  Join us live from the comfort of your home and stay connected to your practice wherever you are. Our livestream option allows you to participate in scheduled in-studio classes in real time, moving and breathing alongside our community. Please ensure you have a yoga mat, two blocks, a bolster, a blanket, and ample space to move comfortably. Log in a few minutes early to settle in and create your sacred space at home.

To ensure a safe and focused environment, participants at our yoga studio must be a minimum of 14 years of age.

Individuals under the age of 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a participating adult.
