Reiki is a natural, safe and simple alternative health modality... Reiki is an ancient practice that helps clear energy blocks and bring you closer to your best life, it helps the body to bring balance to the root cause of disease and imbalance, it can be used effectively to work with physical, mental/emotional and energetic conditions. Reiki is non-invasive and can work in conjunction with medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Everyone can benefit from Reiki. A reiki session begins by having a conversation about your expectations from the session & what you would like to see improved in your body, mind & life. Detailed notes are taken so your progress can be monitored. Any questions you have will be answered then. You will lie down on a treatment table, fully clothed. Your comfort will be ensured before the session begins. A pillow, bolster & blanket can be provided as necessary accompanied by soft music playing in the background. As your practioner, I will set the intention that your body will draw in the reiki energy needed to balance & heal for the highest good. I will then begin by holding my hands in various positions above your body. The session is conducted in silence. The sensations that a person receives during a session varies. Some people fall asleep while others notice thoughts coming & going. Feeling heat and/or cold during the session is common. When the session is complete, I will quietly let you know & have you take your time as you focus on the present. I will remind you to drink some water & will answer any questions that arose during the session. There is no set number of reiki sessions required & if you have an intuitive sense if when a session is required, please listen to that. Rather than waiting until something ails you, it is recommended to receive Reiki to help you not only survive but thrive. $77 (68.14 + hst)
